Golf Under the Lights at LaFortune Golf Course

I

recently was invited to play a round of golf with my friend David at LaFortune Golf Course. Here we have a par three golf course that is lighted in the evenings so players can enjoy the cooler evenings. A par three is challenging because it really puts your short game to the test and allows for faster play. Under the lights, the 110-yard drive off the tee visually looks like 150+ yards. The shadows and lighting create a challenge to your depth perception and ability to stay on course. For beginning golfers or those of us who love the game, but may only play a few times a year, this creates a competitive environment and hones in the yardage. Check out golf under the lights at LaFortune Park Golf Course.

Living and Working in the Village

M

y husband and I began looking for our first home nearly four years ago. We knew we wanted to live in Oklahoma City, with the intention to find a home that we could renovate to fit our personal style. We chose to buy our first home in The Village after falling in love with the storybook inspired architecture and a picturesque tree-lined street. The Village’s proximity to Lake Hefner, parks, and walking trails also attracted us to the area. We enjoy this area so much that we decided to office five streets away from our home. Most of our evenings are spent outside on our patio or taking our dog on evening walks around the neighborhood. We love every minute of living and working in The Village!
