rowing up less than five miles away from Pelican Park really set my stand for parks. It has been the spot for YEARS and for all ages! In my youth, sports teams were always a thing. Basketball and soccer were my go-to, but they do have volleyball, football, and even baseball/softball. Even today, I find myself going to open gym, using the disc golf course, using the dog park, and shooting the soccer ball on occasion. The skate park is a nice addition, but you won’t find me rolling the dice there! To those new to the area who are looking to put their kids into team sports, I don’t know if there is a better opportunity than Pelican Park.
