This Inn Is a Jewel, an Amazing Retreat

I

googled the Bella Vista Inn to pick up one of my out-of-town clients on the way to view homes. I realized I had driven past this jewel of a retreat numerous times before without much notice! This bed and breakfast is a unique rock, glass, and cedar building initially designed by world-famous architect E. Fay Jones.

The 9,000 square foot building is situated along a ridge top in the midst of 14 acres of massive trees, beautiful gardens, and native plants. Offering some spectacular views of the Bella Vista area, the Inn prides itself on continuing to maintain an environmentally friendly haven for all types of outdoor wildlife. Guests can easily enjoy both the convenience of being only minutes to swimming pools, hiking trails, access to seven golf courses, six fishing lakes, canoeing, tennis, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and the amenities of Downtown Bentonville. Or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the surrounding natural beauty!

A Pass Through “The Pass” Will Keep You Coming Back

P

ass Christian is one of those small towns you may only consider passing through until you actually do! With a plethora of outstanding local dining options, a stunning waterfront park draped in Oaks, and miles of white-sand beaches, Pass Christian is the perfect place to escape for the summer! Rich in history, the beachfront scenic drive displays an amazing collection of historic homes. Take in the beauty of the builds while strolling to War Memorial Park. You’ll often find the park to be hosting a local farmers market, art show, festival, wedding, or other community events. Since you’re close, stop by Shaggy’s Grill and enjoy fresh local seafood with a harbor view. If seafood isn’t for you, try one of the famous roast beef Po’boys at Pirates Cove, a local favorite! You may not want to get your fur baby sandy at the beach, but no worries! Trinity Dog Park recently opened in Pass Christian with the motto “Sit. Play. Stay.” You thought you would just pass through until you did! The charm and amenities of this Gulf Coast town will keep you coming back. Whether you stay a few days, come every summer, or decide to make it home, “The Pass” is the place to be!

‘Tis The Season – Holiday Photos Hall of Fame

Ready or not, the holiday season is upon us once again! This is a perfect opportunity for you to showcase the diversity and richness of your community. Photo opportunities are (literally) around every corner. Get out your camera, and get ready to capture these images and share them on your favorite Agent Insight community pages.

Since Agent Insight launched in 2013, you all have shared so many excellent holiday submissions that include neighborhood decorations, local traditions, and holiday community events. We’ve picked out what we consider to be the best-of-the-best, our Holiday Photos Hall of Fame, in order to brighten your season and share some inspiration as you plan your posts for 2021.

Halloween kicks off the two-month holiday season with spooky neighborhood yard decorations, scary haunted houses, pumpkin patches, and trunk-or-treat parking lot events. Do you have a favorite you’d like to share? Submit it to Agent Insight!

Thanksgiving is a little tougher because it seems to get lost in the quick transition from Halloween to Christmas. However, you can write about special Thanksgiving feasts being prepared by local food kitchens. Snap pictures of a cornucopia brimming with gourds, vegetables, and pumpkins in a store window. Cover anything concerning pilgrims and the Mayflower, but especially remember the turkeys!

Finally, it’s Christmas. The month of December is a treasure trove of light displays, neighborhood decoration contests, and greenery everywhere. Take a photo of the Mayor’s Christmas tree, write an article about local holiday concerts and plays, or cover the annual parade, including Santa in his sleigh.  Many neighborhood entrance monuments are decorated for the season, making themselves easy targets for your camera lens. Here are some great pictures from Christmases past.

We hope these beautiful images have given you some inspiration to find the perfect photo opportunities in your own community. The next two months will be over before you know it, so take a deep breath and try to enjoy the time with your families and friends. We can’t wait to see what new photos we can add to our Holiday Hall of Fame for next year!

Conway Is the Place to Be

C

onway, AR, is a wonderful place for anyone looking for a fresh start, a city with plenty of life, a safe home, great places to eat, and of course roundabouts! The city has grown tremendously over the years making it one of the best places to live in the state. There are a plethora of schools to choose from when it comes to grade schools and even colleges! No matter where you are in the city limits, you are probably not much more than a five-minute drive from a school. When it comes to colleges, Conway has several options to choose from. These include The University of Central Arkansas, Hendrix College, and Central Baptist College. All of these are great so you can’t go wrong no matter where you choose to go!

If you’re hungry, take a drive down the town to enjoy a tasty meal at restaurants like Stoby’s, Mike’s Place, Pasta Grill, Walk On’s, The Patio Cafe, Hole In The Wall, and more! You can choose from so many options. If you’re looking for a quick place for an afternoon walk, head over to Tucker Creek Trail or Cadron Settlement. They both provide a great place to get some peace of mind, but not get too far from home.
