Kansas City Chiefs Headed to Super Bowl LIV

W

elcome to Miami! It’s been 50 years since the Chiefs made an appearance in a Super Bowl, and the loyal fans of Kansas City are elated for the opportunity at a Chiefs’s first Super Bowl victory. This team has proven their perseverance and determination this season and are deserving of the NFL Championship title.

What I love seeing most, besides watching Mahomes and the Chiefs win, is the passion of our city and its fans. Landmark buildings including Union Station, Power & Light, Nelson Atkins, Sprint Center, Kauffman Center for Performing Arts, to name a few – lit up with red in celebration of this historic sports event. Murals throughout Crossroads and downtown showcasing our hometown team. And Mohomes surpassing Brady in NFL merchandise sales speaks volumes, literally.

No matter the outcome of Super Bowl 54, I am proud and inspired by Kansas City and our Kansas City Chiefs!

I Heart Orange Beach

O

range Beach is a small beach town with many visitors! The full time population is currently only about 6,000 residents. But with all the tourist guests and those who call Orange Beach their second home, it allows us to have amenities similar to larger cities. Numerous restaurants, great shopping, fabulous schools, miles and miles of bike paths, an awesome community recreation center plus a sports complex with soccer, softball/baseball and football fields are just some of the great things about this coastal area that make me love that it is my home! And we must not forget the beautiful beaches with some of the whitest sand in the world!
