would like to share another restaurant here in Springfield that is a favorite of mine. I do love this city as you may know. If you are thinking about moving over here we have a population of about 167,601, and therefore we have access to most of the things we need to keep ourselves happy from healthy food stores, restaurants, movie theaters, etc. I do like St Michael Restaurant and Italian Catering. One of the dishes that I love is the fresh homemade tomato bisque soup and the grilled salmon salad. Located at 301 South Ave. in Springfield, MO.

ne of my favorite stops when visiting the New Center neighborhood is the Fisher Building. Learning the history, taking a tour guided by Pure Detroit, or just wandering on my own – viewing all the ornate frescos, shopping, or catching a show in the Fisher Theater is always time well spent! My great grandfather was brought here from Malta by the Fisher brothers, so when I visit, it feels like I am connecting to a little piece of my family’s past.

grew up in Indian Lakes Estate in Okemos, and I love the large lots of homes and the mature trees. Many of these homes have been owned by the same owners for years and years (like my parents). So, there are some opportunities for rehabbers or renovators to go in and update the places. The neighborhood has a small lake, so some homes are on the waterfront, creating a very serene and peaceful setting. A salient feature of the neighborhood is its proximity to Michigan State University…just a hop, skip, and a jump away! Grocery, big box stores, and shopping are convenient as well! Okemos Schools are highly rated, and so many families opt to live here for the schools.
