afts of ducks, gaggles of geese, sieges of herons, congregations of egrets, passels of possums, surfeits of skunks, scurries of squirrels and skulks of foxes, plus a plethora of many more groups of critters fly, skedaddle and swim in the Silver Lake neighborhood, which, for the nature lover, is pure delight. One can almost feel like Henry David Thoreau (think “Walden”) or Annie Dillard (think “Pilgrim at Tinker Creek”) living in Silver Lake.
