aving lived all my life in Bergen County, I have to admit I was a little worried how I would adjust to living in Sussex County. Now, having lived here in Sparta for almost nine years, I am so happy I made that move. I grew up in Mahwah and I have come to realize that Sparta is very similar.
Both areas have the beautiful views of the mountains and the conveniences of shopping, leisure and commuting capabilities, but here in Sussex County there is less traffic. As far as activities for children to do, there are so many choices. Believe me, I know. I have four children and they are involved in soccer, dance, taekwondo, marching band, school plays and more!
In the summer the kids love spending time with their friends at Lake Saginaw. I have to admit they have me running around like crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love the fact that they can be involved in so many things. Do I have any regrets about moving to Sussex County? Absolutely not!
