Exploring McDougal Road

I

find myself out on McDougal Road pretty often. It’s one of my favorite little stretches, especially on a gray, foggy day when the hills roll off and disappear into the clouds. Anyway, I must not be the only person who appreciates that beauty as, the other day, I noticed a painter on the side of the road, with an easel, and everything, eyeing up an old barn. I couldn’t see how far along he was, but I think I would know that painting if I saw it in a local gallery, and I sure hope I do.
