his peaceful park with stunning views holds a special place in my heart. My husband of 30 years proposed to me in this very park. It soon became one of my favorite places to bring our children to play. When you come to visit, you will find it to be a meeting and gathering place where children play and also various events take place. Bands perform in the gazebo in the summer months, while visitors gather around with their picnics and blankets. This park is a very sought after location as families find their homes surrounding the park itself. Kite Park was established in 1934 and redeveloped with a new look and feel in 2008.
