Location Is Just the Beginning

T

he Broadmoor area of Lafayette has been home to me for almost my entire life. I was raised here and raised my family here. Over the past four decades, I’ve seen this subdivision go from being considered almost in the country to being a hub of growth, development and activity. Broadmoor Elementary and Edgar Martin Middle School are within walking distance for most Broadmoor residents. We also have a fabulous baseball park and fire station at the center of the residential area.

Within half a mile, any direction, we are just moments from so many and varied dining options, tremendous retail shopping and businesses. Lot sizes are comfortable, homes come in many sizes and price ranges from the $150,000’s up to the $250,000’s. There are also a variety of homes in adjacent subdivisions including some a little smaller and less expensive, townhomes as well as larger homes.

I had no clue when my oilfield industry dad moved us to Lafayette and into the Broadmoor area, what an impact it would have on my life. To call it home is such an understatement.
