The City of Youngsville

A

small group of Acadian farmers in the 1800’s chose the area now known as Youngsville to settle and raise their crops and children. Much like the city today, the growth back then was also great enough to declare this settlement a village in 1863.

In 1983, Youngsville was declared a town and through the 1990’s this growth caused Youngsville to be the fastest growing town elevating it in 2005 to become its own city. Youngsville’s contemporary lifestyles and perfect mix of agriculture and metro-enterprise, along with great leadership and citizens who truly enjoy making it work, have kept Youngsville the fastest growing city in the state ever since.

When studying communities for their rankings, Yahoo takes into consideration factors like household income, education and crime rates. With 36.8% of adults having had achieved a Bachelor’s degree or better, an average household income of $67,147, and a minuscule crime rate of 2.67 per 1000 residents, Youngsville was named the best place to live in Louisiana by Yahoo in 2011.

With all this being said, I can’t think of a better place for you to call home. Please come search the subdivisions located in and around Youngsville and see the wonderful selection of homes available for you to enjoy the city and start living the dream yourself.
