os Angelinos call their West Coast the best coast, New Yorkers call their coast the “Beast Coast,” but both coasts have forgotten about the very best coast of them all: the one in the middle of the U.S, the one without an ocean. Yes, I’m talking about the spectacular Lake Michigan coastline. We might not have summer year round like in Los Angeles, but I’ve also never been stung by a jellyfish in Lake Michigan. All too often West Michiganders forget that the lake is beautiful all year round! It is no mistake that U.S. News ranks Grand Haven as one of the top six best secret beaches in the United States!
