ovey Rise Hunting Lodge is more than just for hunting. Our Leadership Tangipahoa Class just took a trip out there and enjoyed a lunch learning about the lodge. We toured its grounds and learned about their vegetable and flower crops. We had a fantastic lunch and cookies for dessert. They host corporate meetings, have a gun club, and also offer youth camps during the summer time. 
If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, skeet shooting, or you are looking for a unique and beautiful place to host a meeting – you should check them out.

ne of my favorite things about Homewood is our high school band! It typically has as many, if not more, members than the University of Alabama’s Million Dollar Band! Seeing them preform is a highlight of many of Homewood’s annual events. Homecoming Parade, Christmas Parade, Christmas Concert, and numerous football games, We Love Homewood Day (yes, we dedicate a whole day each summer for this), Back to School Bash and pep rallies. The band as marched in the 2018 Macy’s Parade on Thanksgiving Day in New York City! By the way, it takes five charter buses for the band to travel. The students and directors spend hours practicing for these events and they never disappoint! If you haven’t had an opportunity to see them, you should. They’re really fantastic!

may be one of the few people  who have never watched an episode of Game Of Thrones (I do have it on my intend to watch list), but I am familiar with the tales of Robin Hood, King Arthur and others.
