ne of the great things about Dover Pond and Clearbrook is the wildlife. On a daily basis you can always see a deer or several around the neighborhood. But you can also find turkeys, owls, hawks that nest, skunks, of course, but the best thing is when the moms start to lead the baby fawns out and about. Over the past month or so, they have been spotted all around the neighborhood. For the past week, one doe and her two fawns have been by on a regular basis. I am sure she is teaching the little ones all about the great neighbors and wonderful homes that are available around the area! It’s not like any other neighborhood in Owasso. Come and check it — out you won’t be disappointed.

ave you ever wanted to live in a small town, but find it too convenient to leave the larger city? Well, Oak Grove may be your answer! Being raised in Oak Grove, I can tell you it has come a long way from a “small town”. Oak Grove has steadily flourished into an astonishing Kansas City suburb supporting 8,000 residents with more than 20 subdivisions and we’re growing daily. Yet at the same time, it still has that small town feeling. Oak Grove prides itself on being family friendly with award-winning schools, lakes, outdoor parks, a public library, various church denominations and many locally owned businesses. Take a drive down Broadway and you’ll catch that feeling of being in a rural Missouri town, but you’re only minutes from Kansas City. Sports? Say no more! Oak Grove is home of the Panthers and boasts many state titles. Whether you’re into football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball or even band, Oak Grove has built an excellent program for students. Go check out my home town. You may be surprised. Go Panthers!
