Love Living in Linden Estates

M

oving to Linden Estates three years ago was a fabulous decision for our family! The location absolutely cannot be beat. Being located practically smack dab in the middle of Omaha gives our family something incredibly valuablez; time! We enjoy the security of knowing we can get almost anywhere in the Omaha metro area within 10-20 minutes. We also love the fact that we can walk to great restaurants like Stokes, Biaggis, Mahogany, and Charlestons and get to the HyVee grocery store within two minutes (less guilt about multiple trips per week).

Walking through the trails in the neighborhood brings about a great sense of peace and tranquility. Until I moved here I had no idea just how gorgeous and large the paths were. It is such a hidden gem! As you walk through, you will find that neighbors do a tremendous job of maintaining their homes and community. At Christmas time, Linden Estates holiday spirit is quite evident with the quantity of lights! It is absolutely a gorgeous place to drive through and attracts visitors from all over the city.

If you’re exploring making a move up, this is a tremendous choice – one you’ll never regret!

Great Finds at Robbin’s Rarities

I

needed a special cut glass lamp repaired and didn’t know where to go. Someone suggested Robbin’s Rarities across from the post office in Manlius Village. I took my lamp there and discovered people with the skill and knowledge to take care of my problem. I had not been in the store and discovered a treasure store of antique lighting of all kinds. If you need a special repair or a period lamp to accent a special room, check out this wonderful discovery.

Move to Melissa…It Still Has the Small Town Feel

M

elissa is located approximately seven miles north of McKinney off Hwy 121. Many disagree as to the origin of the town names. Some say is was named after Melissa Quinlan, daughter of George Quinlan who was an official of the Texas Central Railroad. Others say Melissa received its name after Melissa Huntington, daughter of C.P. Huntington another railroad executive. No matter who named it Melissa is now a growing, thriving area! Exemplary Melissa ISD still has the small town feel with low teacher to student ratios.

I love to sell homes in Melissa as they make it easy with over 36 new construction homes ready for move in now, or soon to be ready move in! Many of my clients have elected to make the commute to their job in Dallas due to the schools and a new construction home that is in an affordable price range that they could not find in McKinney.
