few years back we were looking to upgrade to a more spacious home for our family. Having two kids already attending Elkhorn South High School, goal #1 was to find a house that fell within the Elkhorn South boundaries. We toured many homes as there were new neighborhoods popping up all around. We absolutely fell in love with the Whitehawk neighborhood and moved in. The homes are beautiful and just the perfect size for our family.
The bonus is the Whitehawk lake just down the block. Our dogs jump for joy when we take them on their daily walk around the lake. There is always something interesting to see, a flock of Canadian Geese, a fisherman casting his line, kids playing at the park or a soccer game on the adjacent field. In the fall, you will see the Elkhorn South High School Cross-Country team practicing around the lake. It’s the perfect combination of a nice quiet community with life in it!
