here is something to be said about a part of the world where everyone waves as they drive by on the highway; where people tool around their lake community in their own golf cart; where neighbors wave and say hello when you are clearly a realtor showing a house. These things are priceless, and the little communities like Cedar Creek, Beaver Lake, Plattsmouth, Lake Waconda, Murray, etc. reinforce just how nice people can be; how a sense of community truly is special. The fact that it’s all potentially 20-40 minutes away from the “big city” is pretty cool, when you think about it.
