ocated five minutes from Ann Arbor, Saline is a small community, with a population of about 9,000. I was lucky enough to enjoy living in Saline for many years. I lived on the river overlooking the dam. I loved taking my dogs to the dog park at Mill Pond Park, walking downtown to its many delicious restaurants, attending the fairs, farmers markets, music in the park, and the school functions. Saline schools are highly rated and their extracurricular opportunities are wide, varied, and top-notch. The community is tight-knit and inclusive. Newcomers are drawn to its proximity to Ann Arbor and highly sought after school district. They soon find that Saline is a lovely community, offering the charm of a small-town with educational excellence, and a tight-knit community with the wonderful yearly event such as the annual Celtic Festival, drawing thousands of people from Southeast Michigan and beyond.
